What Is Extruder Press
An extruder press is a machine that shapes metal or plastic by compression molding.

3 steps in the extruder press extrusion process：
Step 1: Heating the aluminum billet and steel die to a specified temperature prepares the malleability of the billets for shaping, while ensuring their structural integrity during transportation, followed by the application of pressure to extrude the billet through the die opening.
Step 2: The heated billet is rapidly transferred from the furnace to the press, where it is loaded into the container. The ram then applies pressure to the billet, pushing it towards the die opening.
Step 3: The heated aluminum billet is extruded through adjustable tool openings to achieve various shapes and sizes, similar to a cookie press with different discs. The bars are already formed into their required shape upon exiting the press.
Aluminum extrusion involves forcing aluminum alloy material through a die with a specific cross-sectional profile, similar to squeezing toothpaste from a tube. The extruded aluminum emerges from the die opening in the shape of the die and is then pulled along a runout table.
